Albany Covered Bridge

DSC_0358Only 6 miles into the Kancamgus Highway and I’m making my first scheduled stop at the Albany Covered Bridge, although to be fair I’ve come to a screeching halt so many times already, I have a feeling I’m not going to make Flume Gorge today. But that’s ok, because it’s so peaceful, the cares of the world have gone, it’s so good to be on holiday. And I’m feeling much more assured in my driving, thankfully.

I’ve crawled through the trees lining the river to get to this vantage point and I could sit here for hours, but I’ve barely started on my tour of the White Mountains and it’s already taken me ages to get this far.
