Rocky Gorge is my second official stop along the Kancamagus Way, it’s clearly a popular stop along the way and there are people here I saw at the covered bridge – we’re following each other up the highway it seems. Which I guess makes sense, but for some reason seems odd at the same time.
Everyone is clambering over the rocks and getting In The Way – although to be fair, I’m doing exactly the same – we’re all trying to get that unique shot that a million previous visitors haven’t managed to get, just for ourselves.
I’m so happy I made the decision to take a couple of days out to head into the White Mountains, already it’s worth it. Just behind Rocky Gorge is Falls Pond, which very few people seem to either know about, or bother to visit.
