London Eye at Dusk

Let me say I think the London eye is massively over priced ~ at £25 for an adult and £20 for a child, for a half hour single circle of the wheel, it’s crazy.

Don’t get me wrong, I love London, I love cityscapes and both moreso when the sun goes down, however but £70 for the three of us, is nuts, plain and simple. London’s attractions have moved on, there are other’s that are more spectacular and perhaps that is why, but thankfully, the queues are much shorter than they were a few years ago. Has it had its day? Probably not, and it is now an iconic London landmark, heralding the start of every New Year – but it’s still a rip-off.

The views are still good, but just a short walk away is one of my favourite views of London – walk across the Queen Elizabeth Bridge and look down along the Thames towards St Paul’s ~ it’s magical.
