I do love a good coffee, it’s not like I’m a coffee snob, I am a bit, so when I stumbled on this coffee in a local coffee shop I had to try it, moreso because the price tag said it should be nice.
It’s smokey with liquoricey tones, it’s deep and dark, it is delicious. “How much are the beans?” I ask, “£32 for 250g” … “Wow!” ~ he hands me a few beans to smell, they are more complex than any bean I’ve smelt before and I’m thinking that £32 isn’t too bad … then I come to my senses and walk off with my £4 cappuccino happy.
